Mosca is presenting a wide range of load securing solutions at LogiMAT in Stuttgart. The focus will be on a new wrapping system, entry-level machines for the display area and concepts for the circular economy and digitalisation.

From manual hand strapping tools to cloud-enabled end-of-line systems: Mosca is using LogiMAT to showcase its range of strapping and wrapping solutions. One of the trade fair premieres will be the new Luna A1 rotary arm wrapper from subsidiary Movitec, which will be presented in Germany for the first time.

The Luna A1 is designed for medium output ranges and, according to the manufacturer, wraps up to 35 pallets per hour. The target group is particularly smaller production and logistics companies with lower quantities. According to Mosca, the machine allows the film to be pre-stretched by up to 300 per cent, thus contributing to material savings.

The control system is integrated into the base frame. Up to five conveyors can be connected without a separate control cabinet. A higher design is available as an option, so that pallets with a height of up to 2,500 millimetres can be wrapped instead of the usual 2,000 millimetres.

Display

Display fuse in retail

With the SoniXs MS-6 KR-ZV, Mosca is targeting users who need to secure supermarket displays for promotional goods. The manual effort required for mixed displays in particular is often high. According to the company, the machine can be integrated into existing conveyor technology and supports flexible packaging requirements.

„Packaging requirements vary greatly depending on the product and packaging. Our experts advise customers on processes, strapping types and logistics solutions with a view to reliability, product protection and optimised CO2-balance sheet.“

Networking and circular economy

With the SoniXs P7-Connect, Mosca is presenting a strapping solution with a cloud connection. According to the company, machine data can be transmitted via mobile communications and integrated into ERP systems, for example.

In addition to the physical exhibits, Mosca will be providing insights into the latest developments in the field of reusable load securing systems at its stand. With the new development „PALSTAR“, the company is presenting a new reusable load securing solution as a concept study.

This is a modular system with an intermediate shelf and clamping system integrated into the pallet. The solution is primarily designed for intralogistics and closed goods cycles. In view of the European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), Mosca sees this system as a valuable addition to the existing strapping and wrapping portfolio.

Mosca will also be exhibiting manual strapping tools and a strap shredder that mechanically shreds and recycles strapping waste. The company is also highlighting its „Loop That!“ recycling project.
