At LogiMAT 2020, strapping specialist Mosca will be presenting solutions that can simplify processes by tailoring them to specific products and production environments.
The high-performance machine Evolution SoniXs MS-6-H secures and supports thanks to new vertical edge protection Product composites like boxes stacked on top of each other. The compact Evolution SoniXs MS-6 KR-ZV was specially developed for manual work processes.
„Together with customers, we develop solutions where the product takes centre stage,“ explains Timo Mosca, Managing Director of Mosca GmbH. „The stability and safety of the products have top priority during the transport process - whether it is a semi-automatic or high-performance process.“
At LogiMAT, the company will be demonstrating what this concept looks like in practice with two Strapping machines specialised in product groups.
Product support through edge protection
The Evolution SoniXs MS-6-H was developed for the Transport securing of bulky and heavy goods developed. With its latest feature, a vertical edge protector, it is now also an ideal Solution for sensitive products or product composites. Three different sizes can be processed in the magazine for the edge protectors as standard. This allows operators to customise the machine depending on the products to be strapped. The use of large edge protector compartments enables maximum machine availability; up to 55 angles (with a format of 40 by 40 millimetres and a thickness of three millimetres) can be stored in one compartment. This enables environmentally friendly transport protection, especially for applications with stacked fruit crates, palletised cartons or plastic crates.
No fear of contact: stand-alone strapping machine
Anyone who needs a particularly flexible solution for the „last mile“ before transport, especially for Order picking processes in online or retail, will find what they are looking for in the Evolution SoniXs MS-6 KR-ZV. It is ideal for applications in which the logistics employee has to do the work himself and, for example Dollies or pallets in the machine retracts. Thanks to its reduced belt tension of a maximum of 450 newtons, the machine is CE-compliant ex works without driven conveyor technology and can therefore be operated without an enclosure and without a safety zone.
But it was not only the operator who was given special consideration in the machine design: The Operating procedures and different pack formats play a role. The machine achieves a high degree of flexibility thanks to its travelling tongue, which moves between bars or pallet feet for strapping.
