Since 1 January 2017, Multivac Germany, based in Wolfertschwenden, has been operating as Multivac Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG. This makes the sales and service organisation in Germany an independent subsidiary of the international Multivac Group.
The spin-off of the German Multivac sales and service company is part of the strategic measures with which Multivac is currently optimising its group structure. However, the legal separation of sales and service companies as well as production companies has, as Managing Director and CEO Hans-Joachim Boekstegers emphasises, „no impact on the ownership situation or the personnel situation.“

As managing director of the new company Dr Jens Müller took up his position on 1 January 2017. As Vice President Sales & Operation, he had been in charge of Multivac's international sales in Central Europe since 2013 and is now looking forward to continuing his successful collaboration with customers.
„The spin-off allows a Stronger focussing of our sales activities by structuring the relevant processes, reducing the number of interfaces and thus shortening distances. The consistent focus on the needs of our customers will also result in an improvement in our services,“ explains Dr Müller.
