Multivac is now adding the universal GMS 400 portioning system to its portfolio in the entry-level range. The new development will be presented for the first time at Angua FoodTec 2022.
The new GMS 400 portioning system from TVI, a Multivac Group company, offers a high degree of flexibility and Maximum yield even with low application rates and in Germany is aimed in particular at medium-sized butchers, industrial companies with small production lines and bulk consumer suppliers who supply restaurants, caterers, canteens, schools or hospitals with portioned meat products.
System adapts itself
„On the international market, we expect great demand in the food service sector and from industrial companies that use smaller, flexible lines or are looking to enter the fresh meat portioning market. Our target group there also includes large supermarkets with their own butcher's shops.“ Florian Helfrich, Product Manager at TVI.
Compared to the previous GMS 520 model, the GMS 400 multifunctional portioner is characterised by its through flexible 3D compression moulding of the goods out. This allows the system to adapt even better to the different sizes and shapes of the raw products.
Thanks to the perfect shape creates a uniform cross-section over the entire product length, so that slices of uniform size and thickness can be cut across the entire piece of meat while maximising product yield. Depending on the desired shape and the quality requirements, the cut can be almost completely eliminated.
