At this year's Seafood Expo Global, Multivac will be showcasing efficient and sustainable packaging solutions that improve the shelf life of fish and seafood while ensuring an attractive presentation at the point of sale. In addition to solutions for the production of vacuum skin packaging, the focus will also be on the gentle and safe handling of sensitive fish products.

With MultiFresh, the company is showcasing a process for producing high-quality vacuum skin packs. In addition to packaging machines in various performance classes, Multivac also offers a comprehensive film programme developed in cooperation with leading film manufacturers. was developed. This ensures optimum packaging results and safe and attractive packaging, even for food with sharp or hard components such as bones or shells, as well as products with a high product protrusion.

In Barcelona, the packaging concept will be presented on the compact R 105 MF thermoforming packaging machine for the first time. Production of PaperBoard packaging and on the fully automatic TX 730 traysealer. As a standalone solution, the R 105 MF is characterised by its small footprint and is therefore particularly suitable for small businesses and companies that require a high degree of flexibility. The TX 730, on the other hand, is a fully automatic traysealer for packing fish and seafood in trays. The efficient yet compact line is rounded off with an L 310 conveyor belt labeller, which the packs are labelled with an attractive full wrap label.

Multivac is demonstrating its automation expertise in the gentle, safe and hygienic handling of sensitive fish products with the H 244 handling module, which is used to load portions of salmon. The portions are gently and precisely recorded by the delta kinematics and placed in trays.
