The German automation supplier Murrelektronik and the Canadian conveyor technology specialist ATS have announced a co-operation. The partnership centres on the combination of the SuperTrak Conveyance conveyor system from ATS with the Vario-X installation system from Murrelektronik.
The combination of flexible product guidance and decentralised automation should enable scalable machine concepts that can be adapted to different formats, cycle times and product variants. The partnership thus aims to especially for applications in the packaging industry, where space-saving and fast processes are required.
