Nefab strengthens market presence in Southern Europe

The Swedish Nefab Group has acquired the Spanish company Plasticos Flome. The acquisition is intended to strengthen Nefab's position in the southern European market and expand its range of sustainable packaging solutions.

Nefab Group, a global provider of sustainable packaging solutions, has acquired the Valencia-based packaging specialist Plasticos Flome via its Spanish subsidiary Nefab España, S.L. as of 2 July 2025. The Spanish company specialises in thermoforming and injection moulding technologies and has been supplying industrial customers with customised reusable plastic packaging for over 40 years.

With this acquisition, Nefab aims to further expand its presence on the southern European market - particularly in Spain - and at the same time strengthen its own expertise in the field of sustainable packaging solutions.

„This important acquisition strengthens our market position in Spain and Southern Europe and enables us to provide even more targeted support to our customers in key segments such as lithium-ion batteries (LiB) and e-mobility.“

Focus on sustainable packaging

According to the company, Plasticos Flome offers durable and recyclable packaging solutions that are particularly suitable for repeated use. in industrial supply chains suitable. In future, these competences are to be closely interlinked with Nefab's existing offering in order to provide customers with an extended service with both financial and environmental benefits.

Following completion of the acquisition, the Nefab Group employs around 5,000 people in 38 countries worldwide and generates annual sales of over SEK 10 billion.
