Nespresso has developed six new coffee flavours especially for its paper-based capsules. With the Paper-based Collection, customers can now choose between recyclable aluminium capsules or the new home-compostable paper-based capsule.
All coffees in the Paper-based Collection are compatible with Nespresso Original machines. The paper-based capsules consist of 82 per cent paper pulp and are equipped with a biodegradable protective layer which preserves the flavour and freshness of the coffee until it is prepared in the cup. The capsules are certified by TÜV Austria as “OK home COMPOST” and “OK compost INDUSTRIAL” and can be easily disposed of together with garden and kitchen waste in an environmentally friendly way. Dispose of in home compost.

The Paper-based Collection comprises six new coffee specialities that have been specially developed for the paper-based capsules. Four of the premium coffees are inspired by the Italian coffee culture. They form the centrepiece of the selection. In addition, there is a decaffeinated coffee and a certified organic coffee.
