A new board was elected at the general meeting of the VDMA Food Processing and Packaging Machinery Association in Frankfurt. It consists of the board members of the six specialist departments, has 21 members and is elected for a term of three years.
Christian Traumann, Multivac Sepp Hagemüller SE & Co. KG, was confirmed as Chairman. Markus Rustler, Theegarten-Pactec GmbH & Co. KG, was re-elected as Deputy Chairman.
Alfred Kugler, Mosca Machinery & Equipment GmbH & Co. KG. Thomas Becker, Hassia Verpackungsmaschinen GmbH, Olaf Piepenbrock, Piepenbrock Unternehmensgruppe GmbH & Co. KG and Peter Steindl, Fawema GmbH.
Wolfgang Niemsch, Lanico Maschinenbau Otto Niemsch GmbH, and Klaus Pekruhl, Meypack Verpackungssystemtechnik GmbH, were dismissed from the Executive Board. Richard Clemens, Managing Director of the VDMA Food Processing and Packaging Machinery Association, thanked them on behalf of the VDMA and the member companies for their many years of commitment to the association.
