On 1 July, Jürgen Otto will become the new CEO of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG. Dr Ludwin Monz will step down from his position on 30 June and leave the Management Board.

Dr Ludwin Monz says: „I have very much enjoyed my work at Heidelberg. I would like to thank the Supervisory Board, the management team and all of the company's employees for their excellent cooperation.“
Jürgen Otto brings with him decades of experience in the sustainable orientation of large industrial companies, including in recent years increasingly in the area of turnaround management. With regard to his forthcoming role, Jürgen Otto comments: „Heidelberg is an icon of German industry with a product quality and service expertise that is valued worldwide. I am looking forward to becoming part of Heidelberg and working together with the management team led by Tania von der Goltz and David Schmedding and all employees to build a successful future for the company.“
The Supervisory Board of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG also expanded the Executive Board at its meeting on 19 April 2024. It also appointed Dr David Schmedding (47), previously Head of Sales, as a new member of the Executive Board with effect from 1 July 2024. As of 1 July 2024, the members of the Executive Board will therefore be Jürgen Otto as Chief Executive Officer, Tania von der Goltz as Chief Financial Officer and Dr David Schmedding as Chief Sales and Service Officer.
