Schoeller Allibert has appointed Alejandro Cabal Uribe as the company's new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Cabal Uribe will assume his new position on 1 October 2024, succeeding Adrian Letts, who will move to the role of Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
This appointment strengthens Schoeller Allibert its management structure in order to continue to survive in a globally competitive market. Cabal Uribe brings more than Two decades of experience in the packaging industry which he gained through various management positions at Tetra Pak. Most recently, he was Managing Director for Tetra Pak Japan & Korea, where he was responsible for the operational business and drove the company's growth and market position in these key regions. Prior to that, he held management positions in Southern Europe, including the Iberian Peninsula and Italy.
The decision to appoint Cabal Uribe as the new CEO was welcomed by Schoeller Allibert's management and supervisory board. In an official statement, his extensive experience in management and sales was emphasised. In addition, his previous successes in the Promoting growth, innovation and the implementation of customer-oriented strategies and sustainability initiatives The company considers these to be valuable contributions to the future development of the company.
