New CEO at Stora Enso

The Board of Directors of Stora Enso Oyj has appointed Hans Sohlström (58), M.Sc. (tech.) and M.Sc. (econ.), with effect from 18 September. new President and CEO of Stora Enso appointed. Hans Sohlström is currently a member of the company's Board of Directors and is now stepping down from this position. The Board of Directors will now consist of eight members.

Hans Sohlström has more than 30 years of experience in corporate management, of which more than 10 years as CEO, mainly in the fields of forestry and renewable materials. Most recently, he managed Ahlstrom Corporation, Ahlström Capital and Rettig Group. Prior to that, he held various management positions at UPM-Kymmene Corporation for over 20 years, including Mill Director, Business Unit Vice President and as a member of the Group Executive Team with responsibility for Marketing, New Businesses and Biofuels as well as Corporate Relations and Development.

Annica Bresky is leaving her position as President and CEO to take on new challenges outside Stora Enso.
