The Klingele Paper & Packaging Group is expanding its management team: Jürgen Lemke is taking over the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the Paper division with immediate effect.
In this role, he is responsible for the Group's global paper activities with the paper mills in Weener (D), Nova Campina (BRA) and Strasbourg (F), as well as the supply of paper to the Klingele Group's corrugated cardboard plants.
Another focus is on the strategic development of the division and optimising the capacity utilisation of the paper mills.
With his many years of experience in the management of paper mills and corrugated cardboard plants, Jürgen Lemke brings extensive operational and strategic expertise to the company. His previous successes include the integration of new sites, the reorganisation of production lines for the manufacture of corrugated base paper and the introduction of innovative, lightweight paper qualities.
„I love the interplay between paper production and packaging in a family business. In particular, the cross-divisional collaboration offers great potential to realise new ideas together.“
Jürgen Lemke
Lemke succeeds Robert Sieger, who is leaving Klingele after eight successful years with the company to pursue new professional challenges. During his time, he has contributed to the further development of the company with great commitment, the statement continues.
With the appointment of Jürgen Lemke, Klingele is sending a clear signal for the consistent further development of its integrated paper and packaging strategy - with the aim of strengthening synergies, utilising efficiency potential and securing competitiveness in the long term.
