Attractive presentation and protected sales: The trend towards clamshell packaging for snacks, salads, desserts and pastries continues unabated. Labels play an important role here: for labelling and as a closure and seal. At Anuga FoodTec in Cologne, we are therefore presenting a versatile labelling machine for the food industry.
The HERMA 752C is designed to wrap and seal the base, front and lid of packaging with a single label in a single pass. Up to 30 products per minute can be labelled in this way. The integrated HERMA 400 high-performance labeller also enables the precise dispensing of labels. Very long labels - for products with a length of up to 300 mm. The compact design and extremely stable construction of the system as well as various installation options, for example for left and right-hand versions, for vertical, horizontal or „floating“ operation, allow the HERMA 752C to be used in almost any production environment.
Flexible customisation
The system is also efficient in other respects: it can be converted to other systems in just a few simple steps and in a matter of minutes. Product sizes change over. The width of the guide rails and stabilising belts as well as the position of the labeller can be adjusted quickly and easily. The length of the infeed conveyor can be customised according to individual customer requirements, e.g. to make optimum use of the space in existing production lines. A thermal transfer printing unit can be easily integrated in order to print variable data, for example due to an upstream checkweigher. A wide range of useful accessories, including a unit for turning the packaging, makes the 752C a flexible and economical 3-sided labeller on the market.
