Marzek Etiketten+Packaging is the first company in Austria to commission the new HP Indigo 6K+ digital offset press. The investment is part of a comprehensive modernisation programme aimed at higher print quality, increased productivity and more automation.
The labelling and packaging specialist is one of the first companies in the world and the first in Austria to expand its machine park in Traiskirchen with the latest HP Indigo 6K+ digital offset press. The new SmartControl system equipped system enables shorter set-up times, consistent quality for repeat jobs and flexible changeovers to different substrates. Production processes can be monitored and reports retrieved via the PrintOS app. The company had already installed the HP Indigo WS 6000 in 2009 as a European pioneer, followed by the HP Indigo 6K in 2020 - also as an Austrian premiere.
The HP Indigo 6K+ offers a Wide range of special colours and finishing options as well as the option of adding variable data such as integrate personalised texts or barcodes. This enables applications ranging from self-adhesive labels and flexible packaging to folding boxes to be realised. The company aims to meet the increasing demand for faster customisation and shorter delivery times.
Marzek Etiketten+Packaging also invested in industrial solutions for large print runs and sustainable labelling and packaging concepts. Further acquisitions in the Digital and hybrid technology are planned in order to secure our market leadership in the area of printing innovations in the long term.
