Omron introduces a new family of industrial barcode scanners. The new V410-H series devices capture challenging codes, including direct marks and ultra-compact symbols, and provide a solution for traceability in industrial manufacturing.

The three models XD, SR and HC of the portable barcode scanners from the Omron V410-H series offer a compact and user-friendly solution for a Wide range of applications. According to the company, the SR model has an excellent reading range. The HC model is specially designed for use in hospital environments.

The barcode readers are controlled via the WebLink platform from Omron operated. In addition to the intuitive WebLink PC configuration, they also provide a utility programme for display during runtime: this is compatible with any Windows-enabled device. The software makes it particularly easy to export data, customise the data output (pre-amble, post-amble) and save or restore configuration files for the barcode reader. This makes it easy to clone the configuration of the reader across multiple barcode devices.

Robust and flexible barcode scanners 

With its high-resolution sensor, fast decoding, reading ranges of up to 1.1 metres and the ability to decode most 1D, 2D and DPM symbols, the V410-H supports the user. Use in hands-free presentation mode can help to fulfil the requirements for a Contactless operation to fulfil. One Chemical resistance of the appliances against alcohol-based cleaning agents should ensure that the models remain ready for use even with frequent cleaning.
