Vollherbst, a provider of highly refined premium labels, uses a specially developed process to incorporate materials or flavours into the label: Rock from the vineyard, special botanicals from a gin or even sand from the African savannah.
Craft and handmade products, organic and premium products should become even more authentic through craftLABEL and emotionally more valuable thanks to their individual story. Because: The more emotional the product packaging, the better the positioning of the brand and the greater the appeal. This applies in particular to drinks such as wine and spirits as well as food.
Label profiles the brand

Successful marketing is always at the forefront at Vollherbst: craftLABEL is storytelling. The story that can be seen, experienced and felt on the label lends the product authenticity and depth. The product should become a brand through the label.

A piece of home and identity
The first craftLABEL was created at Vollherbst's headquarters in Endingen am Kaiserstuhl.
„We are deeply rooted in our home region. The region is known for its wines, most of which grow on loess soilEveryone here knows this extremely fine type of soil, the feel, the smell and the colour. The origin of high-quality wines, spirits and foodstuffs in particular plays a decisive role. A label that incorporates the loess soil is the perfect brand story for a wine from our region. In craftLABEL, these elements find their way to the consumer,“ says Matthias Vollherbst, owner of the company.
Every craftLABEL is special, every label is unique and every craft material behaves differently. The craftLABEL is made by hand. The best mixing ratio is determined in several tests so that the ingredients are visible and perceptible to the consumer.
Vollherbst has developed the production of craftLABEL on the basis of conventional printing processes, so that a Reproduction in large print runs possible is. craftLABEL can be combined with almost all types of paper and colours.
Windspiel Gin special edition for Apropos
Wind chimes produces high-quality gins and spirits. Under the brand Apropos are in Munich, Hamburg, Cologne and Düsseldorf Concept stores for luxury and lifestyle. A special edition of Windspiel gin is sold exclusively in these stores.
Vollherbst has developed a craftLABEL that symbolises the stores and their uniqueness: The craftLABEL contains bronze dust, which reflects the exclusivity of the gin and the luxury and lifestyle stores. The different distribution of the particles makes each label unique. This gin with this look is only available at this location.
Minerality in the label for Karl Veit Winery
The character of the wines from the Karl Veit winery on the Moselle is Particularly mineral. The steep vineyards on the banks of the river are known for their special slate soils, which are responsible for this minerality. Vollherbst and the Karl Veit winery have developed a craftLABEL based on this history and speciality of the wine.
Visually, the label depicts the characteristic vineyards. The Slate from Karl Veit's plots is processed at Vollherbst and broken down into tiny particles so that it bonds perfectly with the varnish required for craftLABEL. The varnish is then applied to the paper using state-of-the-art technology and equipment. Customers thus take home a piece of the vineyards and thus the origin of the wine.
