New management at BASF Pharma Solutions

Jeffrey DeAlmeida has been appointed Senior Vice President, Pharma Solutions and Nutrition & Health America at BASF. He succeeds Christian Seufert.

As of 1 March 2022, there will be a change in the leadership of BASF Corporation: Jeffrey DeAlmeida will become Senior Vice President, Pharma Solutions and Nutrition & Health America. He succeeds Christian Seufert, who is moving to a role outside the company.

In his new role, Jeffrey DeAlmeida assumes responsibility for the global Pharma Solutions portfolio of the BASF and the Nutrition & Health business in North and South America. He looks back on more than 23 years Experience in multinational companies in the automotive industryThe company has returned to the role of both OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and supplier.

In 2001, after four years at DaimlerChrysler Corporation, he joined BASF Catalysts. Since then he has held positions such as Global Key Account Manager for Commercial Truck OEMs in North America, Global Product Manager for Gasoline Engine Applications, Head of Marketing for the Americas and Head of the Mobile Emissions Catalyst business unit in South America.

Further management changes

After a long career in the supply chain sector, Markus Eppensteiner is now taking over the management of Meto International GmbH together with Peter Sperl.

Meto International GmbH has made a change to its management team as of 1 January 2022. Markus Eppensteiner was appointed as the new Managing Director and will now manage the company together with Peter Sperl.

Dr Gerhard Dimmler becomes part of Engel's management team and, as CTO, is responsible for the areas of development and digitalisation.

On 1 February, Dr Gerhard Dimmler will become CTO and take over the Development division. Dr Dimmler was previously Head of Research and Development and will now also be responsible for digitalisation.
