After more than 40 years at CCL Faubel, Frank Ludwig is taking a step back and relinquishing his position as Managing Director. He was appointed Managing Director Technology in 2012. The company has been managed by Frank Jäger and Martin Kuge since February 2024.
„The decision was not easy for me because of my connection with Faubel, but the time has come to take a step back professionally,“ says Frank Ludwig. Martin Kuge is now also responsible for technology within the management team. He has held the position of Managing Director of Human Resources and Finance since 2012. Over the next two years, Frank Ludwig will continue to share his expertise with the technical departments at CCL Faubel share. As He will be a part-time member of the Technical Consulting team. will be available as a point of contact. The former Managing Director is certain that both sides will benefit from the transition phase:
„I am delighted to be able to pass on my experience, especially to new employees. CCL Faubel is currently looking to fill 15 more positions. We are particularly looking for specialists for production and production-related departments, such as work preparation.“
The fact that Frank Ludwig's heart beats for the printing industry and labelling is proven by his career in the company. During his 40 years of service at Faubel He rose from printing plate manufacturer to industrial foreman in printing, plant assistant, plant manager and finally managing director of technology. A milestone in his career was the development of the Faubel Compact Label in the mid-1990s. Frank Ludwig played a key role in developing this label, which, with its 24 pages at the time, precisely met the needs of the research-based pharmaceutical industry for multilingual product labelling. Since then, this booklet label has been the bestseller in CCL Faubel's product portfolio.
