Werner Theißen will take over as Managing Director of Konica Minolta Germany and Austria from December 2024. His predecessor Joerg Hartmann is leaving the company after five years in which he played a key role in driving forward the digital transformation.
Konica Minolta Germany and Austria announces a change in management: Joerg Hartmann, who has headed the company since November 2019, will leave at the end of his contract. Werner Theißen, a long-standing member of the company, will take over as Managing Director from 1 December 2024.
Joerg Hartmann led the company through challenging times, characterised by the Covid-19 pandemic, global supply bottlenecks and transformations in the print and IT industry. He successfully positioned the company as a technology and managed service provider and promoted a cultural shift towards modern working models. Werner Theißen honoured Hartmann's achievements:

Werner Theißen, previously Director Sales, brings with him extensive experience in sales and digitalisation strategy. He plans to expand the to further drive the company's growth and to respond to changing customer needs with new „future business models“. These print service offerings are designed to enable short delivery times, while new SaaS solutions offer financial flexibility.
The future Managing Director emphasises that it is important to him to maintain Konica Minolta's position as the leading Partner for digital transformation to further strengthen the company. He wants to meet customer requirements with customised solutions and further sharpen the company's strategic focus.
