Interzero starts the new year with new management. Since January, the circular economy service provider has been managed throughout Europe by a management trio consisting of CEO, CFO and CIO. Jan Kroker is the new CEO, Yi Guo takes over as CFO and Claudia Wegener takes over as CIO.
In an international context, it is becoming increasingly relevant for companies to utilise cross-border synergies and interlink business activities. With this in mind, Interzero has established a standardised, group-wide management team consisting of a CEO, CFO and CIO for the whole of Europe. Jan Kroker, Yi Guo and Claudia Wegener have made it their mission, strengthen the position of the circular economy expert in a competitive European environment and further expand Interzero's role as one of the leading international EPR service providers.
„The circular economy must not be a national issue. In order to intensify the internationalisation of our company and cooperation along the value chain across national borders and company divisions, and to strengthen our position as a leading international EPR system provider, we are consistently and uniformly positioning Interzero across Europe. The new management of the entire group of companies will focus on strategically and operationally advancing Interzero's vision of a world without waste so that we can continue to play a decisive role in shaping the circular economy internationally together with our customers and partners.“
Dr Axel Schweitzer, Chairman and shareholder of Interzero
The company will continue to focus on implementing sustainable recycling solutions and, as an expert in innovative plastics recycling, ensuring that more and more recyclable materials are saved from incineration and resources are conserved. Digital solutions are increasingly becoming the key to success, to organise circular solutions efficiently. For this reason, the topic of digitalisation has been firmly anchored in the company's management and will be the responsibility of Claudia Wegener in her role as CIO in future.
