Roland Thiemann is the new Managing Director of the supplier fair for the food and beverage industry, Anuga FoodTec. He succeeds Matthias Schlüter, who is leaving the company at his own request at the end of 2024 after 24 years at Koelnmesse, including 14 years as Director of Anuga FoodTec.
Roland Thiemann has extensive experience in Experience in the international food and beverage industry. Most recently, as an independent consultant, he supported companies in Australia and Germany in the development of innovation and brand strategies, product innovations and sustainable packaging solutions. His Expertise in go-to-market strategies and the successful market launch of new products makes him ideally qualified for the strategic development of Anuga FoodTec.
During his time at Modus Brewing, a leading independent brewery in Australia, the 47-year-old established numerous products, including new process innovations in the area of alcohol-free beer and a beer creation developed by artificial intelligence. With his combination of technological expertise and strategic brand management, he will steer Anuga FoodTec in an innovative and future-orientated direction.
The next Anuga FoodTec will take place from 23 to 26 February 2027.
