The packaging for Hilcona's Pasta Classica range is getting an update. From September, the optimised packaging design should increase sales.

The new design, with its large viewing windows and images of fresh ingredients, is intended to Orientation and more attention at the POS provide. The prominent display of the logo and the variety colour coding make it easy to recognise the brand on the shelf. In addition, labels and icons on the front of the bag provide information about quick preparation times, the suitability of the varieties for a vegetarian diet or whether the product is organic.

Hilcona Pasta Classica products are among the company's top sellers and, with packs of 400 and 500 grams, are ideal for families. According to a study conducted by market research company Yagora on behalf of Hilcona the packaging design better than that of the best-tested competitor packaging. According to the survey, 72 per cent of respondents also agreed with the statement that the new packaging encourages tasting and makes the brand appear even more valuable (69 %). This would result in even more sales potential for Pasta Classica products.

Organic at first sight

The Hilcona organic pasta range is now being expanded by two new additions to the trendy organic food segment. The new packaging look includes the organic seal, the FSC MixPaper banderole and the green organic coding.

Hilcona Spätzlini were recently awarded „svery good“ rating. Thanks to of the mini-Formats they are the highlight for children. With one Sales increase of 44 per cent and a rotation of +48 per cent the „little ones“ are making it big in the trade.
