New plant for corrugated board products

Van Genechten Packaging increases its capacity for the production of corrugated board products with a second plant in Komárom, Hungary. 

Consumers are increasingly asking for sustainable and recyclable packaging alternatives and companies are responding to this demand with creative and innovative solutions. Van Genechten Packaging is no exception. The company is increasing its capacity for the production of corrugated cardboard products with a second plant in Hungary. 

With the new plant in Komárom, the VGP network in 14 months and invested in a region where the company sees strong market growth. The rapid realisation of the plant is testament to the Group's teamwork and project management. Given the challenges in the global supply chain, the short time from kick-off to ramp-up of production is also special. The new plant will Sustainable and design-optimised packaging solutions made of corrugated board and cardboard for the consumer goods brand industry.
