The fifth generation of swissQprint flatbed printers offers 23 percent more speed and ten freely configurable colour channels. A newly developed machine concept is designed to further increase productivity and versatility.
swissQprint has introduced the fifth generation of its flatbed printers. The new Nyala 5, Impala 5 and Kudu models are based on a revised platform and offer 23 per cent higher speed compared to their predecessors. According to the manufacturer, the printers are capable of a maximum Production speed of up to 341 square metres per hour to reach.
A key feature of the new platform is the reinforced printer base. In combination with linear motors, this enables greater precision and efficiency. The print heads of the new generation offer a Resolution of up to 1350 dpi, which, according to swissQprint, results in improved print quality.
Another advantage of the new flatbed printers is their versatility thanks to Ten freely configurable colour channels. In addition to standard colours, spot colours such as neon or orange, effect varnishes and primers can also be used. These options extend the printers' range of applications, for example for printing special effects or producing prototypes.
The printers are produced entirely at the headquarters in Switzerland. Users receive a 36-month warranty, which emphasises the reliability and durability of the devices. Interested parties can experience the new models at trade fairs and special launch events. Presentations are planned for 28 and 29 January 2025 in Kerpen and at wetec 2025 in Stuttgart, among others.
