Legal requirements demand clear identification at item level. The thermal inkjet printers (TIJ) in the Gx series from Domino Deutschland GmbH, Mainz-Kastel, are ideal for implementing pharmaceutical legislation in accordance with GS1 standards and can be incorporated into systems validated in accordance with 21 CFR Part 11.

For even more flexibility when implementing labelling regulations, the TIJ printers in the Gx series are now available with seven different printhead variants which can be combined with each other, retrofitted and even operated with up to a maximum of four print heads via a single controller.

With the new EXT print head and a possible print height of 26.1 millimetres (even up to 104.3 millimetres for several individual print positions or heights by combining several print heads), for example, it is possible to effortlessly print larger print images as well as 2D and QR codes of the appropriate size. With the new OPT print head, 13.5 millimetre high codes can be applied with a greater distance between the head and the product. The new print heads expand the range of the Gx series and offer a variety of options for labelling labels, films, cartons, folding boxes and trays.

The Gx-OEM enables a Seamless integration into packaging systems and is ideal for serialisation and track & trace. Operation, print layout creation and processing can be carried out directly via the HMI of the packaging system, while the small print heads of the Gx-OEM can be integrated into the production line at a distance of up to 25 metres from the OEM board.
