Luca Galluzzi (52) will join the management of automation provider B&R on 1 August. As the new Managing Director of Sales, he succeeds Peter Gucher, who is retiring after 34 years at B&R.
In his new role as Chief Sales Officer (CSO), Galluzzi will all B&R sales activities worldwide and drive forward the development of new markets. In addition to his new role on the B&R management board, he will continue to be directly responsible for the Southern Europe sales region.

Sales network with 27 subsidiaries
Peter Gucher began his career at B&R when the company was a small Upper Austrian start-up with 60 employees. Over the years, he built an international distribution network which now consists of 27 subsidiaries and more than 180 offices. „This global presence and the associated proximity to customers is the result of Peter Gucher's high level of commitment,“ says Wimmer.
