Schmalz has opened a new office in Ho Chi Minh City, which will serve as a strategic centre for the Southeast Asian market. With the opening, the company is emphasising the importance of the region and offering local customers innovative solutions and services.
Schmalz has expanded its international presence by opening a new location in Vietnam. The office in Ho Chi Minh City, District 7, provides a platform for customers and partners to learn about and experience vacuum technologies.

During the opening ceremony, which was also attended by representatives from business and industry, German Consul General Dr Josefine Wallat emphasised the close economic ties between Germany and Vietnam. She emphasised the importance of German companies that promote the development of the region through their investments.
The site covers an area of 200 square metres and accommodates offices also an exhibition of innovative solutions, including the JumboFlex handling system and vacuum automation components. These technologies are important for sectors such as the electronics, packaging, automotive and logistics industries.
The opening offered participants the opportunity to experience Schmalz products live and to talk to customers and partners. The new location is part of the company's long-term strategy of being present in emerging markets and offering customised solutions to customers in the region.
