Veit Rückel, who holds a doctorate in mechanical engineering, is taking over the technical management of the adhesive materials division at Herma.
Veit Rückel is therefore in the largest Herma business unit responsible for the management of all technical departments, i.e. work preparation, production, operating technology and process engineering. The 46-year-old was previously responsible for operations at the Magnetec Group, an international manufacturer of nanocrystalline components. There he was for the operating business of all production sites in Hungary, Moldova, China and Vietnam, as well as Industrial Engineering and Purchasing.
Before that, the Bayreuth native was Plant manager at Walter AG, a leading German manufacturer of tools for metal cutting with headquarters in Tübingen. He also spent several years in management positions at Audi and Continental.
„In all of his previous positions, Veit Rückel has placed a strong focus on automation, process optimisation and continuous improvement. His extensive knowledge, analytical approach and practical application expertise in these areas are extremely valuable for our continued drive for innovation in production and process technology. After all, we want to further expand our position as a technology leader in the production of adhesive materials.“
