29 apprentices started their careers at Schreiner Group on 1 September. They are being trained in a total of 10 different professions. Compared to last year, the Group was also able to increase the number of trainees.

With the new trainees, the Schreiner Group currently A total of 58 young people completed an apprenticeship across the various years of training.. These include apprenticeships for the Business Administration dual study programme as well as industrial clerks, office management clerks, IT specialists for system integration, media designers, warehouse specialists, industrial mechanics, mechatronics engineers, machine and plant operators and media technologists for screen and flexographic printing. New this year is the Dual study programme in business informatics.

The fact that training is a high priority in the family business is not only evident from the high number of trainees. In addition to the unique training concept and multiple awards as „Training Company of the Year“, since last year there has been a In-house training workshop where technical trainees gain their first experience on state-of-the-art machines before they move on to production.

„It is very important to us to provide young people with the best possible support and to accompany them on their career path. I am proud and happy to welcome so many young people to our company. Especially in times of a shortage of skilled labour, training is a key success factor. We invest a lot in training - and it pays off: Around 130 of the almost 1,200 employees are former trainees.“

To give the new trainees a particularly good insight on their first day, Managing Director Roland Schreiner welcomed them with a Company tour, lunch together and getting to know the trainee mentors. These trainees from previous years support the „newcomers“ with their knowledge and experience during the first few weeks. Joint trainee days are then held in Trausnitz in September to strengthen team spirit and promote personal development.
