Cleaning requirements in warehouses, shipping and logistics zones vary. At this year's LogiMAT, Nilfisk, a provider of cleaning technology, will therefore be showcasing customised and versatile cleaning solutions and systems that can cope with fine dust, coarse dirt and moisture.
The cleaning requirements of the logistics sector could not be more diverse. Nilfisk will be focussing on solutions for fine dust and coarse dirt, the removal of stubborn or damp dirt. In addition Battery-powered and autonomous concepts for warehousing and logistics.
When warehouses and logistics areas need to be cleaned, it depends on which goods are being moved. Scrubber-driers are the first choice when it comes to sticky dirt. Nilfisk offers efficient solutions here, depending on the surface area and size: The SC500 walk-behind scrubber-drier scrubs through smaller floor areas with an oscillating deck, The orbital technology develops high physical forces and attacks the dirt from all sides.
The active principle transfers the cleaning solution across the full width of the pad onto the floor without ejecting the liquid. Thanks to a Reduced water consumption by up to 50 per cent eliminates unproductive stops for emptying and filling of the tank systems. Another benefit is the cost saving: less water means less detergent consumption. Orbital technology also extends the service life of pads, battery and motor.
Large production areas and logistics zones, on the other hand, are the area of application for the SC5000 ride-on scrubber-drier. In a current market comparison, the solution achieves around 30 per cent more productivity per tank filling. Thanks to the technical equipment, the compact ride-on machine guarantees a performance of up to 7,740 square metres per hour. For agility and operational flexibility, the compact machine design offers a turning circle of just 160 cm.
If coarse dirt and adhesive substances are to be removed or fine dust is to be avoided, so-called combination machines are suitable for large warehouses. This is where the CS7010 combination machine comes into its own. Presented in the LPG version, it shows visitors to the trade fair how Large, powerful appliances used in an environmentally friendly and energy-saving manner can be swept. With a working width of 124.5 centimetres, a sweeping width of 154 centimetres and a maximum contact pressure of 181 kilograms, the CS7010 achieves an area performance of up to 13,600 square metres per hour.
The use of autonomous cleaning technology is a sustainable trend that is also becoming increasingly popular in logistics areas. With the Liberty SC60 autonomous ride-on scrubber-dryer, Nilfisk offers modern Robot technology for economical and safe floor cleaning without the need for additional personnel to make this possible. Thanks to its generous refuelling systems, the SC60 works up to 2.5 hours without interruption and cleans up to 2,811 square metres per hour with a working width of 71 centimetres. The total running time is up to 5.5 hours, depending on the application.
The VHB436 is the first battery-powered industrial vacuum cleaner for warehouses and logistics with a modular design, Quick-charging lithium-ion battery for over two hours of continuous operation. The machine vacuums up to the ceiling or along external facades. A height cleaning set with camera and display is also available for areas that cannot be seen. With three industrial bypass motors and an output of 2.4 kilowatts, the vacuum cleaner achieves an air flow rate of 6,500 litres per minute. The VHB436 model has up to three batteries, which allow it to run continuously for up to three hours.
Visitors to the trade fair will find cleaning power with a cable in the ATTIX 44-2L IC MOBILE wet/dry vacuum cleaner. The practical, flexible helper for cleaning production facilities impresses with its Fully automatic InfiniClean filter cleaning system, top performance and a robust, award-winning design. Even with fine dust applications, filter maintenance costs remain low. The M-Class flat pleated filter (dust class L) achieves a separation efficiency of 99.9 per cent. A 42-litre dirt container, Multifit connection system and robust chassis with steel castors ensure high flexibility.
