Norma now packs selected convenience products from its own-brand range in recyclable paper from Koehler Paper. It is heat-sealable, has an oxygen and mineral oil barrier and is resistant to grease.

The Koehler NexPlus Advanced packaging paper is recyclable according to CEPI and thus offers an environmentally friendly alternative to conventional plastic packaging. Norma wants to reduce unnecessary packaging material and has therefore scrutinised its own-brand packaging.

The replacement and use of environmentally friendly materials is now being reviewed for all packaging. The aim is to use resources sparingly along the entire value chain - from production to sale.

„Our packaging paper is not only particularly suitable for convenience products, but also demonstrates the potential of paper as a packaging material overall. Thanks to high recycling rates, certified supply chains and the use of renewable raw materials, paper is an ideal choice for recyclable packaging.“
