The focus of the Omron-The main focus of the company's presence at the trade fair in Hanover is the future design of the „i-Automation“ concept, with which the company intends to drive innovation in manufacturing. At the same time, this concept serves as a guideline for developments in the production environment in the coming years. With a new design based on a real production environment, the company wants to bring technologies and approaches to life in Hanover. The three pillars of the automation concept - intelligent, integrated and interactive automation - form the central basis.

„Right now, manufacturers around the world need to modernise and evolve their manufacturing operations for a post-coronavirus world,“ says Fernando Colás, newly appointed CEO for the Industrial Automation business unit in EMEA. „We have to respond to technological innovations as well as changes in products and production methods. At the same time, however, we must always keep an eye on important Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for greater sustainability, a diversification of human values and the well-being of employees.“
