Under the trade fair motto „we create the future“, EyeC GmbH will be presenting the diversity of its product and service portfolio for automated quality control throughout the entire design and printing process as well as technical innovations and further developments of the systems.
The highlights include Live demonstrations of the ProofRunner Carton HighLight. The inline inspection system was specially developed for the 100 per cent inspection of folding cartons in the premium segment and will be presented on a folding carton gluing machine from partner Kohmann. The system quickly and reliably checks the quality of complex finishes such as hot stamping, holograms or blind embossing.
In the area of inline inspection, the focus will be on a presentation of the ProofRunner Web. Installed on the „Bobcat S“ rewinder from the French machine supplier DCM, the modern inline inspection system guarantees a high level of reliability. Super-fast and precise 100 per cent pressure inspection for labels and flexible packaging with web widths of up to 1,700 millimetres. Brand new options for the entire EyeC ProofRunner line will be demonstrated for the first time, providing an insight into the performance of AI-based defect classification. In addition, the scanner-based EyeC-Proofiler-DT line (graphic defects in the image) with scan formats up to 1,270 × 915 millimetres as well as demos of the artwork proofreading software will be shown.
Further solutions EyeC at the „Touchpoint Sustainability“ stand at the trade fair. In this drupa forum, which is organised under the direction of the VDMA Association of Printing and Paper Technology, the Sustainability in the printing industry has been placed centre stage.
