The new OnlineChartHDA visualisation element from B&R gives users a transparent insight into the behaviour of their machine.

Historical data of any process variables can now be easily displayed in machine visualisations. The machine operator can permanently monitor and optimise processes. Thanks to a clear display, irregularities in operation can be detected at an early stage, thus minimising maintenance costs.

The new Visualisation element OnlineChartHDA from the mapp View software package provides a transparent insight into the behaviour of a machine. It collects machine data directly from the process via the control system, permanently records the data and automatically makes it available to the widget.

Open communication standard

The solution is based on the Standard OPC UA. Machine data is retrieved from an OPC UA server and displayed in the visualisation using a standardised interface. This allows the widget Use data from any devicewhich has an OPC UA server. Sampling time, buffer size and all other settings are configured in the server.

Intuitive operation of OnlineChartHDA

With the mapp View software package, any automation engineer can design clear web visualisation pages with little effort. Modern HTML5 visualisations are easily created with ready-made widgets. The user simply drags the OnlineChartHDA widget onto the desired visualisation page and parameterises it as required. Multi-touch gestures such as zooming or swiping enable an intuitive user experience in the widget.
