Combilift offers a single stacker solution to optimise storage space and speed up material handling. The Aisle Master articulated stacker is characterised by its narrow aisle and versatility.

Manufactured by Irish specialist Combilift, the Aisle Master VNA range was developed to provide a Combination of other forklift trucks, such as counterbalance and reach trucks, The disadvantages of this system include the limited use of reach trucks indoors. The disadvantages of this system include the limited use of reach trucks indoors and the space they require to operate in the aisles. As counterbalance trucks are more suited to outdoor operations such as unloading, switching from one type of truck to another results in double handling, which is time consuming, not very efficient and also carries the risk of product damage.

With the universal one-stacker solution that the Aisle Master represents, loads can be brought directly from the yard into covered storage areas, and these „Truck-to-rack“ function increases productivity. Unlike other classic VNA forklifts, the Aisle Masters do not need super-flat floors, and thanks to the large rubber tyres they can also be used on semi-hard or less than perfect terrain without any problems.

With the ability to work in aisle widths of just 1.6 metres, Aisle Masters can Increase storage capacity in the existing warehouse by 50 per cent compared to the use of counterbalance or reach trucks. In times of growth, for example, optimising the racking layout according to the capabilities of the forklifts can avoid the need to expand or relocate existing premises - both of which are costly, disruptive and involve a lot of red tape. “Optimising instead of relocating“ is also a much more sustainable approach and meets the desire of many companies to reduce their CO2-footprint.
