For the first time in almost 20 years, the Lenze Group is once again involving members of the owner family in its day-to-day business. With Lena Günther and Dr Moritz Belling, the fourth generation is taking on central management roles, thereby strengthening the automation specialist's programme for the future.
The internationally active Lenze Group is setting an example of continuity and foresight: two members of the owner family are taking on operational responsibility within the company. Dr Moritz Belling started as Director Transformation on 5 September 2025. He is responsible for strategic projects within the remit of CEO Dr Marc Wucherer and reports directly to him. From 6 October 2025, Lena Günther will follow as Head of Business Development in Finance under the leadership of CFO Bruno Krauss.
Both representatives of the fourth generation have experience in venture capital, private equity and strategy consulting. Lenze thus combines family roots with external expertise to provide targeted support for the ongoing transformation. "The transformation of Lenze is an entrepreneurial task that I am approaching with full conviction. I see great potential to further expand our strengths in technology, partnership and digital innovation," said Dr Moritz Belling.
Lena Günther emphasised: "For me, Lenze is more than just a company - it is part of our family history. I'm looking forward to actively taking on this responsibility and setting new strategic impulses together with the team."
Strategic development with family continuity
The company sees the involvement of the shareholder family as a clear signal of stability and future viability. The measures are part of the newly launched future programme, which is geared towards innovation, efficiency and sustainable growth.
"The fact that two members of the family are now taking on central roles is an expression of our shared confidence in the next generation and a clear signal of Lenze's strategic direction," explained CEO Dr Marc Wucherer.
This is the first time in almost two decades that family members have been directly involved in the day-to-day business. Lenze is thus emphasising the importance of family continuity for the long-term development of the company.
