Just under five months to go until it's time again: from 23 to 25 September 2025, Fachpack in Nuremberg will once again bring together the packaging industry - with a focus on sustainability, digitalisation and innovation.
The European trade fair for packaging, technology and processes is expecting around 1,400 exhibitors in eleven exhibition halls. 90 per cent of the exhibition space has already been allocated. The range of exhibits once again covers the entire packaging value chain: from packaging materials and packaging aids to packaging technology, packaging printing, finishing and intralogistics. It is aimed at trade visitors from all packaging-intensive sectors, including food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, chemicals and industrial goods.
Lead topic „Transition in Packaging“: Impulses for the future

Event Director Phuong Anh Do emphasises the relevance of the exchange: „The industry is undergoing radical change and a sustainable and digital transformation is unavoidable. And that is why we will once again be discussing important industry topics together here in Nuremberg in September and providing impetus as to what the opportunities of this transition look like and how they can be utilised.“
In the supporting programme, particularly in the Packbox and Innovationbox forums, experts will discuss current developments - such as the use of artificial intelligence, strategies for implementing the EU Packaging Ordinance (PPWR) and new circular economy models. The „Alternative packaging solutions“ pavilion will once again present innovative Materials made from renewable raw materials.
Focus on networking and promoting young talent
In addition to professional dialogue, the trade fair places great emphasis on networking: The „Women4Packaging“ event enters its second round and offers women in the industry targeted exchange and further development opportunities.
The third day of the trade fair will be dedicated to the Student Day in cooperation with the German Packaging Institute (dvi) takes place. Companies can make direct contact with students and benefit from fresh ideas. According to Sonja Bähr, Director Business Development at B+P Creality, the trade fair always offers a very good overview of the latest developments, trends and technologies and is also a protected setting for confidential discussions with industry experts. Especially in view of the current uncertainties The exchange at the trade fair is more important than ever.
„Fachpack is therefore the essential industry meeting place for us. There is currently a great deal of uncertainty due to the legal, economic and political requirements affecting the entire industry. This makes it all the more important for us to use Fachpack as a central platform for dialogue in order to stay up to date and gain valuable impetus for our business. The trade fair also offers exciting opportunities for dialogue and further development with new formats such as Women4Packaging.“
