The demand for efficient and sustainable packaging solutions is steadily growing, particularly within the logistics and e-commerce sectors. This is a trend that Packsize will be addressing at this year's Test Camp Intralogistics in Dortmund. The event, taking place on 15th and 16th April 2026 at the Westfalenhalle, provides a platform for practical testing and expert discussions surrounding the latest developments in intralogistics.
Packsize will be showcasing its innovative packaging technologies at the trade fair, including the X6, one of the company's fastest and most versatile automated packaging machines. With a throughput of up to 1,300 shipping-ready boxes or trays per hour, the X6 can produce different packaging types in very small to medium sizes on demand. These on-demand packaging solutions help to significantly reduce package volume and material consumption, as there is no longer a need to fill voids. This optimises transport volume and meets current and future regulatory requirements, such as those outlined in the EU's Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation.
Adapting to fluctuations in demand
Another key feature of Packsize products is their ability to flexibly adapt to fluctuating demand. Automated packaging systems offer a significant increase in efficiency and can handle even high shipping volumes, which rise sharply, especially during peak seasons such as Christmas or around special sales days.

Alongside its on-demand packaging systems, Packsize is also showcasing intelligent software tools as well as practical automation solutions for a wide range of logistics and shipping requirements. Visitors to the trade fair will have the opportunity to learn about specific application scenarios on-site, watch video presentations on the functionality and added value of the systems, and speak directly with company experts. „We want to show how our on-demand packaging systems decisively contribute to making supply chains more efficient, sustainable, and economical – ideally through direct dialogue with users and decision-makers from the industry,“ says Philipp Venjakob, Vice President European Sales.
The Test Camp Intralogistics offers a wide range of new developments in warehouse and material flow technology across approximately 5,000 square metres of hall space, from autonomous robotic systems and driverless transport vehicles to software solutions and assistance technologies. Trade visitors can participate in highlight tours, live demonstrations and technical discussions with development teams, gaining a comprehensive insight into the latest intralogistics technologies.
