With his new ADN perfume line, Adolfo Domínguez has opted for circular wooden packaging from Quadpack, which does not require adhesives or plastics.
With its new ADN perfume line, Spanish luxury label Adolfo Domínguez is introducing an innovative packaging concept that sets standards for sustainable design in the perfume industry. In collaboration with the packaging specialist Quadpack, a packaging made entirely of PEFC-certified maple wood The Woodacity system is based on the patented Woodacity technology and consists of a lid and sleeve to secure the pump to the bottle.
The solution completely dispenses with adhesives, plastics and other connecting elements. Instead, the components can simply be screwed together and easily separated at the end of their life cycle. The lid engages with an audible click when closed - a detail that, according to the manufacturer, is not only functional but also emotionally appealing. The warm feel of the wood and the precise closing sound create a special user experience.

For ADN, Adolfo Domínguez uses maple wood with a smooth surface and fine grain. The brand logo is laser engraved on the cuff. The components are produced at the Quadpack Wood plant in Spain, which via its own biomass plant has. Wood waste from production is used there directly to generate energy - for example for drying the wood and regulating the temperature - which eliminates the need for additional transport routes.
