Perlen Packaging, a division of the CPH Group, acquires LOG Pharma with sites in Israel and Hungary. The acquisition expands the product portfolio to include barrier packaging for pharmaceutical applications and strengthens the market position in growth regions.
The CPH Group has announced that Pearls Packaging LOG Pharma will take over. LOG Pharma specialises in packaging solutions with High barrier properties against oxygen and water vapour, which are used in particular for liquid and solid medicines in the pharmaceutical and medical industries. With the acquisition, Perlen Packaging is expanding its range to include vials and containers as complementary primary packaging.
LOG Pharma generated sales of CHF 26 million in 2023 and employs around 245 people, 130 of whom work in Israel and 115 in Hungary. The acquisition is intended to strengthen Perlen Packaging's position in strategically important growth regions.

Dr Peter Schildknecht, CEO of the CPH Group, explained that the takeover was a Consistent step in the company's expansion strategy. Marc Haller, Head of Packaging at the CPH Group, added that the new production site in Hungary would facilitate access to the important Eastern European market and further consolidate the company's market position. The takeover is expected to be finalised in the first quarter of 2025.
