P&G: More sustainability in the bathroom

P&G now offers its Head & Shoulders, Pantene, Herbal Essences and Aussie brands as solid shampoos in recyclable, FSC-certified paper packaging, in response to growing consumer demand.

According to a study by P&G Consumers are increasingly demanding plastic-free packaging and expect the support of the brand manufacturers. The company now wants to fulfil consumer demand with new shampoo bars from its Head & Shoulders, Pantene, Herbal Essences and Aussie brands.

A piece of solid shampoo should up to two 250 ml bottles of liquid shampoo. The bars have a handy shape and an integrated cotton rope with which the solid shampoo can be hung up in the shower. The solid pieces are in FSC-certified paper boxes packaged.
