The processing and packaging technology trade fair for the pharmaceutical and cosmetics sector, Pharmintech, will also take place in Milan from 3 to 6 May as part of Ipack Ima. The organisers gave an initial preview of the trade fair topics at a preparatory press conference.
The President of Pharmintech, Sergio Dompé, pointed out in his presentation the importance of life sciences, not least against the backdrop of the current pandemic point out. In this context, there is also a great opportunity here for the industries operating in this sector, which will gather at the trade fair in May.
In addition to representatives of the Italian pharmaceutical association AFI, the international pharmaceutical industry association PDA and the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering, Gian Paolo Crasta, representing the Italian packaging machinery manufacturers' association UCIMA, also presented the programme planned by the association for the trade fair.
Accordingly, representatives from institutions and companies in the industry, as well as individual experts, will be discussing the latest developments in the packaging industry in a forum that will run throughout the trade fair under the motto „Packaging Speaks Green“. the relationship of the circular economy and the strategic role of the entire packaging supply chain in different industry sectors - pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and chemicals.
