Sustainable plastic solutions with bioplastics and recyclates

FKuR Kunststoff GmbH will be presenting its latest developments in the field of bioplastics and recyclates at Fakuma 2024. The company will be showcasing sustainable solutions for a circular economy and focussing on products that reduce CO2footprint and replace fossil raw materials with recycled materials and bio-based plastics.

Niklas Voß, Deputy Sales Manager at FKuR, emphasises the increasing importance of „carbon-neutrality“ and „reducing plastic waste“ in the plastics industry. Regulatory changes and growing consumer awareness in particular mean that Packaging materials increasingly designed to be sustainable become.

The products presented at the trade fair include Macolen PP recyclates, which come from both post-consumer and pre-consumer sources. These Recyclates are odourless and have excellent technical properties. on. FKuR also offers the Terralene rPP hybrid compound, which combines bio-based raw materials and recyclates and offers particularly good recyclability.

For companies that already want to make packaging more sustainable today, the bio-based, recyclable Terralene compounds an ideal solution. These plastics are particularly suitable for non-food applications and are fully recyclable.

In addition to its own compounds, FKuR will be presenting a portfolio of EuCertPlast-certified PE and PP recyclates for injection moulding, blow moulding and extrusion. Patrick Zimmermann, Managing Director of FKuR, emphasises that the company focuses on strong partnerships, to further expand the range of technical thermoplastics.
