Based on the current credibility campaign „Believe it or not“ McDonald's Germany is publishing facts and figures for the 2018 financial year in its ninth sustainability report. The report documents the company's various sustainability activities based on the focus topics of nutrition, packaging and climate.
Focus topic packaging: first changes from October
McDonald's is continuously working on reducing packaging waste and eliminating single-use plastic items. In October, the company will replace the plastic balloon holders with a paper version. To reduce packaging volumes, the 4-piece Chicken McNuggets will also be served in a paper bag instead of a paper box by the end of 2019.
