In our new podcast „packaging people“, we talk to the players in the industry once a month. We talk about the history of well-known companies and current challenges.Â
In the latest episode, Jan Malte Andresen talks to Uwe Harbauer. The graduate engineer is a member of Syntegon's management board and is responsible for the Pharma division.
Episode 2: From Bosch to Syntegon
A conversation about competitors in Packaging Valley, the outlook in uncertain times, trouble with supply chains and mutual understanding between suppliers and customers.Â
The talk was created shortly before Uwe Harbauer's daily walk to the canteen, which takes him right across the factory. And on which, he says, the Managing Director discovers something new and exciting every day.
To be honest, I don't have such a huge concern overall. When I look at our business, we serve sectors that are at the bottom of Maslow's pyramid of needs, such as food and pharmaceuticals. And that means that we have actually always come through all crises well, even in the past.
