There are changes in the management team at plastics processor Pöppelmann in Lohne. According to Ralf Hochhäusler, Chairman of the Advisory Board, the previous CEO Torsten Ratzmann is leaving the company by mutual agreement. A management trio will take over the management of the company.
The management at Pöppelmann will soon consist of Norbert Nobbe, Matthias Lesch and Henk Gövert. Gövert will take up his position in September of this year.
Norbert Nobbe is 57 years old and comes from Holdorf. He has been with Pöppelmann since 1988. The graduate engineer has been responsible for the company's production and technology as Managing Director since 2008.
Outgoing CEO says goodbye with personal words
The 41-year-old Matthias Lesch was appointed Managing Director of Pöppelmann Holding by the Advisory Board with effect from 1 May 2019. Mr Lohner started at Pöppelmann in 2001 as a trainee, after which he worked for two years in the management of the Pöppelmann plant in the USA. Since 2008 he has been Authorised signatory and responsible for marketing, sales and innovation worldwide.
Henk Gövert is to become Commercial Managing Director of Pöppelmann Holding. He is 37 years old and comes from Damme. He started at Pöppelmann in 2002 with a dual study programme in industrial engineering. He later acquired an extra-occupational qualification as a Business lawyer. He returns to Pöppelmann from another company.
The outgoing CEO Torsten Ratzmann, which was recognised in 2016 by the Harting-technology group in Espelkamp moved to Lohne, said goodbye to the employees with personal words, according to a company press release: „Together, we have achieved a lot and experienced a lot. And we have learnt a lot from each other and with each other.“
