The general trend towards a more mobile lifestyle is also having an impact on the development and design of packaging: There is an increasing demand for ergonomic and flexible packaging that can be easily opened and resealed on the move without any tools. With the PouchBooster®, Pöppelmann FAMAC® presents a packaging concept that fulfils these requirements.
The PouchBooster® can be used to store a wide variety of products. Airtight and secure packaging such as baby food with a swallow-proof closure. Thanks to the self-explanatory and visually clearly emphasised opening mechanism, a weld-in spout with screw cap, the user can open and reseal the pouch without much effort or special dexterity. A practical portioning and dosing option improves handling.
The Weld-in pourer series is characterised by a system with a guide groove, standardised dimensions and various opening diameters between 8.5 and 21.5 mm. The larger diameters make it easier to remove and dose liquids or viscous and free-flowing substances. Pöppelmann's concept also makes it possible to fill the stand-up pouch both through the spout and through the open top seam.
Fold-out spork
Another example of a self-developed innovation is the so-called „Spork“. This is a Practical cutlery, which, although it fits into a standard round lid with a diameter of 95 mm, is a comfortable 130 mm long when unfolded and allows the consumer to handle it easily. This is made possible by a style with an expanding fold, which can simply be pressed together and snapped into place as soon as it has been removed from the lid.
