The Swedbrand Group is presenting so-called hybrid gift packaging at the Luxe Pack trade fair in Paris. By combining corrugated board and paper lamination, costs can be saved without making the packaging look less luxurious.
Swedbrand calls its development a completely new, hybrid form of premium gift box, which is made from corrugated cardboard with an additional paper lamination. The result is a much more cost-effective cardboard box without compromising on the quality of the premium gift boxes and cardboard packaging. This is produced on the automatic production lines in Gdansk.
The new, hybrid corrugated cardboard box can be processed by machine and is designed to significantly reduce the consumption of raw materials and production costs. Unlike grey cardboard, corrugated cardboard is easy to compress as it is 2.5 times lighter than conventional cardboard.
At Luxe Pack Paris, Swedbrand will also be demonstrating its expertise with inventive solutions for the cost-effective production of premium gift boxes and cardboard packaging. With the location in Poland, the transport of finished boxes within Europe is not only several weeks shorter compared to deliveries from Asia, but also cheaper - often by a factor of ten.
