Colourful recycled paper from Koehler makes PresentFill cartons and filling material environmentally friendly. The Bavarian company has now expanded its range to include wine and gift packaging.
For 70 per cent of consumers, the packaging of a product is a decisive factor in their purchasing decision. The circular economy is therefore increasingly becoming a strategic issue in retail and industry's own sustainability endeavours. In addition to the transport container, packaging includes also the filling material to protect the packaged goods. This is also increasingly being considered from the point of view of environmental protection and recyclability.
PresentFill uses recycled paper as filling and padding material
Company founder Gerald Göbel started producing filling and padding material back in 2013. Since then, the raw material in the form of recycled paper has been supplied by the Koehler Paper Group from its plant in Greiz, Thuringia. There, the family business produces Recycled paper made from 100 per cent secondary fibres, which, with their brilliant colours, prove that sustainability can also be colourful.
„With our high-quality recycled papers, we show that environmental protection in the paper industry doesn't have to be grey, brown and dull and that it is 100% ‚Made in Germany‘.“ Christoph Brown, Sales Manager at Koehler
This in turn is appreciated by Gerald Göbel, who can offer his customers more than just filling material with a high-quality feel and brilliant colours made from sustainable Koehler papers. „We have now expanded our portfolio to include wine and gift packaging as well as gift baskets and stand-up organisers,“ says Gerald Göbel. The company also uses Koehler recycled paper with its natural feel for these products. It is laminated onto corrugated cardboard, giving it greater rigidity and a more valuable appearance. receives.
Sustainable solutions with high colour fidelity
What is even more important for the PresentFill founder: „Gift packaging is often part of our customers' product range. This includes, for example Manufacturers of natural cosmetics or renowned delicatessens. With Koehler products as a basis, we can offer sustainable solutions. These are filling materials and packaging that have high colour fidelity, comply with DIN EN 71-3 for the safety of children's toys, offer excellent finishing options, are chlorine and acid-free and are manufactured in compliance with the highest environmental standards.“
„We can be directly visible to the end customer with our products - that is a real incentive and a real honour. With our products, we show that recycled paper can make a brilliant impression.“ Christoph Braun, Sales Manager at Koehler
